Over 11.2 million tons of transit cargo were transported through Uzbekistan in 2023
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The volume of transit cargo transported (by road and rail) across the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan in January-December 2023 amounted to 11,29 million tons, the Statistics Agency of Uzbekistan said.
About 9.17 million tons were transported by rail (in relation to the total volume of cargo 81.3%), by road – 2.11 million tons (in relation to the total volume of cargo 18.7%).
