Over 11,000 children to get presidential gifts

According to the information service of the Ministry of Public Education of Uzbekistan, the gifts were send to the regions.

Over 11,000 New Year gifts of the President were prepared and delivered to regions of the country, the ministry said.

The Uzbek ministry said that the gifts include 12 types of educational accessories and 15 types of sweets. The gifts will be handed over to children at the President’s New Year celebrations on 29-30 December 2016.

It added that over 6,040 gifts were delivered to Karakalpakstan and nine regions of Uzbekistan via Uzbekistan Havo Yollari aircrafts.

Over 3,850 presents was sent to Tashkent, Syrdarya and Jizzakh regions, and Tashkent city via motor transport.
