Over 100 districts are additionally allocated funds from the republican budget to the "Civic Initiatives Funds"

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the plenary session, the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Amendments to the Law" On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2021 "was considered.

It was noted that the main goal of the Law is to ensure the implementation of the priority tasks of programs and decisions adopted in 2021, and to determine the sources of their funding.

The law introduces changes to the maximum amount of funds allocated to distributors of budgetary funds.

In particular, the forecast of revenues and expenditures of state trust funds, as well as the maximum amounts of funds allocated from the republican budget to distributors of budgetary funds of the first level, are increasing.

For this purpose, regions (cities) with the size of up to 1 billion soums formed in the "Civil Initiatives Fund" and more than 100 proposals received from the republican budget are additionally allocated funds in the amount of 117,400 million soums.

For the implementation of important measures for the socio-economic development of Syrdarya, Jizzakh and Navoi regions, funds in the amount of 300 billion soums are additionally allocated.

Also, an additional 200 billion soums are allocated to the local budget of the city of Tashkent to improve the socio-economic situation, including for construction, major repairs and equipping infrastructure facilities.

In addition, additional transfers in the amount of 50 billion soums are sent to the centralized fund to compensate for damage caused to individuals and legal entities in connection with the seizure of land for state and public needs.

The approval of the law will make it possible to allocate funds from the republican budget, to direct the funds provided for these purposes in local budgets for the socio-economic development of the territory.

The law was approved by the senators.
