Over 10 million people in Uzbekistan were vaccinated with ZF-UZ-VAC2001 at different stages

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) – Some 20,557,091 doses of the ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine have been used in in Uzbekistan in 7 months. 

Of them:

-10 369 913 doses used for the first stage,

-5 929 066 doses for the second stage,

-4 258 112 doses for the third stage, respectively, which is 78 percent of all vaccines used.

Among the population subject to vaccination:

-1 312 937 doses received by persons over 65 years old,

-621,243 doses - medical professionals,

-1 136 886 doses - school teachers,

-438 186 doses - employees of preschool educational institutions,

-1 782 408 doses were given to persons with chronic diseases. The rest of the doses were used to vaccinate other categories of the population.

The production of the ZF-UZ-VAC2001 vaccine has also been launched in Uzbekistan.
