Over 1 Million Uzbeks Traveled Abroad in Two Months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the first two months of 2026, more than 1 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism, according to the National Statistics Committee.

From January to February, a total of 1,081,612 people made international trips, an increase of 49,300 compared to the same period last year.

Kyrgyzstan remained the most popular destination, visited by 426,421 Uzbek tourists. Tajikistan ranked second with 179,390 visitors, followed by Kazakhstan with 166,017 travelers.

Other frequently visited countries included Saudi Arabia (115,350), Russia (62,054), Türkiye (34,634), the United Arab Emirates (26,449), Thailand (10,946), China (8,890), and Egypt (8,872).
