Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In accordance with the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on the eve of the 29th anniversary of independence of Uzbekistan, a group of our compatriots were awarded state awards.

On 26 December, in the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent, state awards were presented to 90 residents of the capital, who made a worthy contribution to the well-being of society by their many years of work in the field of strengthening the independence of our country and the successful implementation of reforms that are underway in all sectors - in particular, in the field of economic development and education of patriotic the younger generation - as well as for their active participation in social life and many years of fruitful work.

Also, according to the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, three outstanding employees of the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent were recognized as worthy of the state awards for their hard work and active participation in state and social activities.

They are:

- First Deputy Khokim of the city of Tashkent

Shakirov Hotambek Anvarovich - awarded with the medal “Sodiq khizmatlari uchun”;

- the chief specialist of the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent

Umarov Anvar Khusnutdinovich - awarded with the medal “Sodiq khizmatlari uchun”;

- Head of the Administration of the khokimiyat of the city of Tashkent 

Tairov Sulton Mamurovich - awarded with the Shukhrat medal.
