Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting of the Council of Ministers of Turkic States of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) will be held on 10 November 2022 in Samarkand.

OTS Secretary General Baghdad Amreev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Khalaf Khalafov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tleuberdi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade of Hungary Peter Szijjarto, Minister Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Cavusoglu, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashit Meredov will attend the event.

The meeting will be followed by the signing ceremony of final documents.

In November 2021, the Turkic Council was transformed into the Organization of Terek States (OTS). The members of the OTS are Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan. Hungary and Turkmenistan have observer status.
