OSCE Project Coordinator meets with chairperson of Uzbekistan Trade Unions Federation

At the meeting, John MacGregor was familiarized with the work of Uzbekistan Trade Unions Federation in protection of social-economic rights and interests of employees. It was noted that Uzbekistan created all conditions for activities of Trade Unions.

The OSCE Project Coordinator John MacGregor highly rated with the work, conducted in Uzbekistan, in all spheres, Uzbekistan Trade Unions Federation said.

He noted that trade unions in many countries have to protect their rights, while issues in Uzbekistan in labour sphere are solved via social dialogue between the Government, trade unions and employers.

At the meeting, the sides agreed on continuation of realization of various projects.
