Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 27 April 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan, Ambassador John McGregor on the occasion of the completion of his mission in our country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said in a statement.
An exchange of views took place on the state and prospects of multifaceted cooperation between Uzbekistan and the OSCE.
The parties noted with satisfaction the results of the visit to Uzbekistan by the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde.
Separately, joint work was noted to counter coronavirus infection and minimize its consequences.
The importance of continuing close cooperation on the implementation in 2021-2022 of various OSCE projects in Uzbekistan, included in the "road map", was noted.
At the end of the conversation, the Minister expressed gratitude to the OSCE Project Coordinator in our country for the fruitful work and significant contribution to strengthening practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and the organization.
John McGregor sincerely thanked for the comprehensive assistance provided in the implementation of his activities as the OSCE Project Coordinator in Uzbekistan.
