Ore Mining Project Launched in Navoiy Region with Foreign Investment

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the Uchkuduk district of Navoiy region, Uzbekistan, a mining project has been successfully launched at the Kokpatas and Dovgiztau deposits (Phase III), including a processing complex, the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade reported.

The initiative was spearheaded by JSC “Navoi Mining & Metallurgy Company” and is designed to produce 10 million tons of ore annually, creating 885 new jobs.

The total cost of the investment project amounts to US$90.1 million.

The implementation of the project aims to expand production capacity, enhance the region’s export potential, and attract foreign investment to Uzbekistan’s mining sector.
