Openness of state bodies discussed in Samarkand

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- An international conference “Openness of the activity of the state bodies and administration – important guarantee for ensuring constitutional rights of the citizens to receive information: experience of Uzbekistan” started its work in Samarkand on 17 September.

MPs of Oliy Majlis, heads of information service of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection, State Tax Committee, State Statistics Committee, mass media, universities, experts from Greece, USA, Finland and Germany are attended the event.

The conference will consider legislation on openness of state bodies, mechanisms of ensuring openness of the state bodies, as well as dialogue between mass media and state bodies.
