Openness index of state bodies published in Uzbekistan

The index, which is available at www.ochiqlik.uz, covers the figures up to 1 January 2017.

The index includes 47 state bodies and entities. State tax committee of Uzbekistan took the first place with 97.5 points.

Tashkent city administration and Central Bank of Uzbekistan (96.33 points each) shared the second place. Ministry of Justice (93.67 points) claimed the third place.

The State Committee for Architecture and Construction took the last place in the index. Hokimiyats of Surkhandarya and Ferghana occupied 46th and 45th places respectively.

The index will be published twice a year – as of 1 January and 1 July.
