Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In order to expand cooperation with France in the trade and economic sphere, the delegation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan met with the director of the organization to promote the export potential of Occitania region, Team France Export Occitanie, Jean-Michel Beleriv, Dunyor reported.

The French side noted that due to the active introduction of modern information and communication technologies in production, today in the city more than 11 thousand enterprises have been created that work on the principles of the digital economy. Toulouse owns the most developed digital cluster in France - Digital 113 and is the capital of the FrenchTech state project.

Beleriv expressed readiness to assist in establishing contacts of the leading companies of the region with Uzbek partners in the field of cosmetology, agriculture and tourism.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached on organizing the visit of J. Belerive to Uzbekistan for a detailed acquaintance with the investment and export potential of the republic, as well as making a presentation about Uzbekistan in the CCI of the Toulouse Metropolis with the participation of representatives of leading companies of both countries.
