Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A one-year-old child died after taking Doc-1 Max in Kashkadarya region. This was reported by the regional prosecutor’s office.
It was previously reported that 18 children living in several regions of Uzbekistan died after taking this drug. All of them were hospitalized in the Samarkand Regional Children’s Multidisciplinary Center in September-December.
The child in Kashkadarya region was given Doc-1 Max syrup for five days. After that, the child’s health deteriorated.
On 27 December, the child was hospitalized in the regional branch of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care. The child died a day later.
A criminal case has been initiated. A preliminary investigation is underway.
The prosecutor’s office of Kashkadarya urged citizens not to take the drug "Doc-1 Max". Currently, tablets and syrups of the drug "Doc-1 Max" are withdrawn from sale in all pharmacies of the country in the prescribed manner.
