A resolution of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis was adopted on the election of Feruza Farkhodovna Eshmatova as the Commissioner of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights (Ombudsman).

In this regard, she was relieved of her post as chairman of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on women and gender equality.
