OIC Secretary-General to visit Uzbekistan

The visit will last three days. Within the visit, he will meet and hold negotiations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investment and Trade, Committee on religious affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.

Iyad Ameen Madani will also familiarize with sights in Tashkent within his visit to Uzbekistan.

The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation is an international organisation founded in 1969 consisting of 57 member states. The organisation states that it is "the collective voice of the Muslim world" and works to "safeguard and protect the interests of the Muslim world in the spirit of promoting international peace and harmony".
