OIC delegation visits sights in Tashkent
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A delegation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) led by its Secretary-General Iyad Ameen Madani arrived in Uzbekistan on 7 June.
On 8 June, the delegation visited sights of Tashkent. In particular, the delegation visited Hazrati Imam complex. Deputy chairman of Uzbekistan Muslims Board Sheikh Abdulaziz Mansurov and officials of the Committee on religious affairs welcomed the guests.
Abdulaziz Mansurov briefed the guests on reforms and creative work in Uzbekistan. The guests familiarized with the museum of Osman Quran, which impressed the delegation.
Iyad Ameen Madani said that he was satisfied after familiarizing with sights and history of Uzbekistan.
