Official Ceremony Held for the Meeting of the President of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 29 January, at the Presidential Residence of the Republic of Türkiye, “Ak Saray” in Ankara, an official meeting took place between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of Türkiye, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

A ceremonial honor guard was formed on the square in recognition of the high-ranking guest. The leaders of both countries ascended the podium, where the national anthems of Uzbekistan and Türkiye were performed by a military orchestra.

Following the formal ceremony, the presidents inspected the guard of honor and greeted the members of the official delegations.

Currently, the two heads of state are conducting negotiations in a narrow format, focusing on further development and strengthening of comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Türkiye.
