Offenders caught fish with damage for 531 million soums in Akhangaran district

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Employees of the Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources for Tashkent region revealed that 3 citizens were engaged in illegal fishing.

During the raid control in the village of Kairma, Akhangaran district, a car VAZ-2106 with state number 10 V 920 OA was stopped, heading along the route Akhangaran - Tashkent.

During the inspection of a car owned by a citizen B.A., born in 1991, it turned out that together with citizens D.A. and R.K., born in 1984, they illegally caught fish with the help of a fishing tool prohibited by law - electric fishing rods.

When calculating, it turned out that the damage caused by poachers to the animal world as a result of illegal fishing is 2,950 fish with a total weight of 48 kg.

On this offense, the Akhangaran District Criminal Court issued a verdict.

The damage amounted to 531,000,000 soums, which will be recovered in the prescribed manner.
