Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — As of 1 June 2025, a total of 16,405 enterprises with foreign investment are operating in Uzbekistan, according to the National Statistics Committee.

Of these, 4,087 are joint ventures, while 12,318 are fully foreign-owned enterprises.

Compared to the same period last year, the total number of such enterprises has grown by 14.3 percent, reflecting the steadily rising interest of international investors in the Uzbek market.

Chinese companies are showing the most notable growth. At the beginning of the year, 3,357 enterprises with Chinese capital were registered in Uzbekistan; by June 1, that number had reached 4,068.

Other countries also saw increases in business activity: companies from Russia now number 3,086 (+113), from Türkiye 1,997 (+128), from Kazakhstan 1,136 (+76), and from the Republic of Korea 674 (+14).

In addition, 682 companies from Afghanistan, 368 from the United Arab Emirates, 326 from India, and 320 from the United States continue to actively operate within Uzbekistan.
