Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The number of entrepreneurs with the highest "AAA" rating in the business sustainability ranking has increased 45 times, according to the data from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.

As part of the incentivizing measures, about 1.8 trillion soums in VAT were refunded to "AAA" rated entrepreneurs in one day without conducting inspections. The number of inspections on economic entities was also halved.

Additionally, there was a 2.7-fold increase in the number of jobs in enterprises, and 53,500 more entrepreneurs began submitting their tax reports on time. Meanwhile, the number of entrepreneurs with a low "D" rating decreased by half.

It is worth noting that from 1 February 2024, Uzbekistan introduced the Business Sustainability Rating, aimed at creating favorable conditions for law-abiding taxpayers who meet legislative requirements and rewarding them.
