NTRC holds meeting with head of British Council office in Uzbekistan

A the meeting, the sides discussed perspectives of cooperation between NTRC and British Council on assisting specialists and TV anchors in deepening knowledge on methodology of studying English language, joint developing projects on studying English language and use of the ready content, including TV and radio programmes on studying English language.

It was underlined that that NTRC started to actively study issue on organization of effective studying foreign languages to implement presentation decree “On measures on improving system of studying foreign languages”. The company developed and implemented several measures to prepare new TV and radio programmes on studying foreign languages, including English.

The sides underlined that programmes on studying English languages, broadcasted via Bolajon TV Channel, is becoming important. In this connection, the sides considered opportunities of mutual cooperation in using existing content, including TV programmes for children and radio programs for adults.

They also considered opportunities of attracting British specialists in preparation of educational TV and radio programmes on studying English language at TV and radio channels of Uzbekistan.

The sides agreed to continue contacts on perspective directions of mutual beneficial cooperation.
