Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbek grandmaster Nodirbek Abdusattorov has claimed the bronze medal at the World Chess Championship.
In the match for third place, he secured a confident 2.5–1.5 victory over German grandmaster Vincent Keymer, earning prize money of US$40,000.
This result also guarantees Abdusattorov a place at the 2027 World Chess Championship in the Freestyle format.
