NLDB can receive status of official source for publishing of legal documents

Legislative Chamber hosted a discussion of the draft law, directed at providing status of official source of publishing legal documents to the National Legislation Database (NLDB).
Faction of the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Milliy Tiklanish” considered the document at its session.
The draft law is directed at developing national information system and improving legal culture of the citizens of Uzbekistan.
The document envisages introduction of changes and amendments to the laws “On normative and legal acts and “On Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan”.
The concept of the draft law is based on idea of providing status of official source of legal information to NLDB, which is accessible at the website www.lex.uz. This should improve efficient of law enforcement and access of population to legal documents.
