Next SCO Summit in 2026 to Be Held in Kyrgyzstan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will pass to the Kyrgyz Republic. This decision is formalized in the Tianjin Declaration of the Council of Heads of SCO Member States, adopted at the organization’s anniversary summit.
The declaration notes that Kyrgyzstan’s chairmanship will be held under the motto: “25 Years of the SCO: Together for Sustainable Peace, Development, and Prosperity.”
The next meeting of the Council of Heads of SCO Member States is scheduled for 2026 and will take place in Kyrgyzstan.
