Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Vehicles must pass a technical inspection within the following terms:

passenger cars, buses, trolleybuses, trams and trucks with the number of seats of 8 or more, intended for the transportation of people, special vehicles and trailers for them - 1 time in 2 years;

vehicles, from the date of issue of which no more than 6 years have passed - 1 time in 2 years;

vehicles, from the date of issue of which more than 6 years have passed, or the date of issue is unknown - 1 time per year;

trailers - within the time limits established for the vehicle-driver;

at the time of registration of the vehicle with the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate, regardless of the previously established deadlines for the next technical inspection.

New vehicles are not subject to technical inspection when registering with the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate.
