New rector of National University of Uzbekistan appointed

New rector of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek has been appointed.
Shukhrat Sirojiddinov was appointed as the rector of the university. Prior to appointment, he worked as pro-rector on educational work of the National University of Uzbekistan named after Mirzo Ulugbek
At this post, he replaced Gafurjon Muhamedov, who had worked as the rector of National University since July 2006.
