According to the order of the Prosecutor-General of Uzbekistan from 12 August 2016, senior justice advisor Botir Kudrathodjaev was appointed as the prosecutor of Tashkent city for five years and approved as chairperson of the Board of the region’s Prosecutors Office.

Prior to appointment, Kudrathodjaev was prosecutor of Surkhandarya region. He replaced at this post Mirzohid Obidov , who was appointed as the first deputy governor of Tashkent city on administrative issues, coordination of activities of law enforcement bodies, self-governing bodies and youth policy.
