Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Botir Zohidov has been appointed as Khokim of Shaykhantakhur district of the capital. The corresponding decision was made at an extraordinary session of the Shaykhantakhur district council of people’s deputies.

Prior to this appointment, he had worked as deputy head of the Central Bank since August 2017.

Botir Zohidov was born in 1982 in the city of Tashkent. In 2003 he graduated from the Tashkent Financial Institute, in 2008 - the Banking Finance Academy.

He has 20 years of experience in the banking sector. He has been working in the Central Bank system since 2009. In this post, he replaced Abdukakhkhar Tukhtaev.
