New healthcare minister appointed

Alisher Shadmanov was appointed to the post of the Healthcare Minister. Prior to appointment, he worked as the chairperson of the Committee on science, education, culture and sport of the Legislative Chamber of Uzbekistan.

At this post, Alisher Shadmanov replaced Deputy Prime Minister Adkham Ikramov, who was appointed to the post of the minister in December 2016. Ikramov kept his post as the Deputy Prime Minister.
