Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 28 February 2022, under the chairmanship of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, an expanded meeting of the Colleagues of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was held, during which the newly appointed heads of departments of the Ministry were presented:

Bakhtiyor Ibragimov has been appointed director of the Department of Economic Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan. Previously, he worked as the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to the United Arab Emirates.

Sarvar Mirzarakhimov, who previously served as the head of the department of the State Protocol Department, became acting head of the Department of State Protocol.

Umid Akramov was appointed as acting Head of the Department of economic support. Prior to that, he worked as a chief specialist of the Financial and Economic Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
