Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 2 June, by a resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bahodir Abdikarimov was appointed director of the Cultural Heritage Agency under the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 

In this regard, with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Aziz Abdukhakimov and a number of responsible persons, Bahodir Abdikarimov was introduced to the staff of the Cultural Heritage Agency.

The Agency for Cultural Heritage carries out in its system such tasks as the protection of objects of material cultural heritage, the implementation of state control in the field of museums, support, coordination, control of archaeological research, identification, protection of cultural property in the country and abroad, as well as the creation of their complete database.
