Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Alisher Turaev was appointed Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan - General Director of the National Center for Knowledge and Innovation in Agriculture.

Alisher Turaev was born in 1961. He is a biologist-geneticist by profession, graduated from the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov.

He worked at the University of Vienna, Moscow State University. M.V. Lomonosov, Physics and Technology Institute of the Russian Federation.

Since June 2019, he has been working as a professor at the Department of Genetics, Breeding and Seed Production of Agricultural Crops of the Tashkent State Agrarian University.
