Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new customs warehouse has been put into operation at the Nukus Logistics Center, owned by JSC "Uztemiryulkontainer."

The opening of the warehouse aims to improve the quality of transport and logistics services in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and create additional conveniences for local entrepreneurs. The total area of the warehouse is 1,110 square meters.

The warehouse is equipped with modern infrastructure and security systems and is supported by regional customs representatives. It not only provides temporary storage for goods but also facilitates customs operations and multimodal transportation.

It should be noted that since 2020, as part of cooperation with the Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, JSC "Uztemiryulkontainer" has organized customs warehouses totaling 15,000 square meters of open type and 6,200 square meters of closed type in various logistics centers, including Raundan, Margilan, Kokand, Jizzak, Ulugbek, Termez, and Bukhara. These warehouses efficiently provide services for loading, unloading, storage, and customs clearance of goods.
