Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Atabek Tursynbekov has been appointed Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Aktau (Republic of Kazakhstan). This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.

In 2009-2017, he worked in various positions at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.

In 2017-2021, he was the first secretary of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The consular district of the Consulate General in Aktau includes Aktobe, Atyrau, West Kazakhstan and Mangistau regions of Kazakhstan.
