Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Computer equipment was handed over to new IT schools organized in the city of Tashkent and Namangan region by the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications.
On 6 October 2020, a resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to further improve the education system in the field of information technology, develop and integrate scientific research with the IT industry” was adopted.
In accordance with it, 8 IT schools were organized in Tashkent region (at school No. 8 of Parkent district, school No. 5 of Pskent district, school No. 9 of Nurafshan district, school No. 4 of the city of Angren, school No. 2 of Akhangaran district, school No. 14 of the city Chirchik, school No. 2 of Bostanlyk district, school No. 8 of Yangiyul district). In order to strengthen their material and technical base, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications handed over 128 units of computer equipment.
Also, 92 units computer technology.
Organized IT schools have been refurbished to modern standards, and in-depth study of ICT has been established in each of them.
