Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The National Chamber of Innovative Health of Uzbekistan, in partnership with the National Guard of the country and with the support of the khokimiyat of Qibray district, opens a new innovative clinic for the treatment of patients with COVID-19. The clinic is slated to open in September.
The priority in this partnership for the National Chamber is to provide comprehensive assistance to the sick. Today it is already clear that COVID-19 affects different categories of patients in different ways, including pregnant women, people with chronic diseases, the elderly, who in general have already weakened immunity. In this regard, it is important not to overlook those individual health complications that may accompany a disease associated with coronavirus infection. In this regard, the National Chamber will be in constant communication with the attending physicians of the new clinic in order to attract specialized specialists in time to help patients with COVID-19, if necessary.
Currently, the National Chamber is working on mechanisms for attracting leading, both domestic and foreign specialists, experts, including from private clinics. At the same time, despite the fact that private investments are attracted, the provision of services to the main contingent of patients will be free.
The capabilities of telemedicine will also be widely used in the treatment of patients, which will help to organize timely consultations with the best doctors who have extensive experience in combating COVID-19.
“Involvement in this process of specialists needed by specific patients is the key to success in the process of treating patients, minimizing damage to their health as a result of infection with coronavirus infection,” said Rovshan Izamov, Chairman of the National Chamber. - Today, it is important not only to build up experience in combating COVID-19, but in general to create new schemes of approaches to treating people in epidemics based on international experience and standards. As the COVID-19 pandemic has shown, it is best to prepare and practice innovative healthcare practices in advance and as carefully as possible. An important element of such readiness is the unification of the forces of the most diverse parties, practical partnership to achieve a common goal - timely help to people ”.
For the opening of the clinic, the National Chamber is also preparing a large batch of personal protective equipment (PPE), which will be handed over to doctors and medical personnel to protect their health.
With the support of the National Guard and the khokimiyat of Qibray district, these days, the completion of repairs and a special layout for receiving patients with COVID-19 in the building designated for the clinic, as well as its equipping with modern medical equipment necessary to help this category of patients, is underway. The clinic will be able to examine patients and determine the form of their treatment, and accommodate patients with severe COVID-19 for hospital observation. There is an intensive care unit equipped with all the necessary modern equipment, and experienced specialists are involved in its work.
Today, when all over the world, on the one hand, there is experience in treating COVID-19 patients, and on the other hand, the understanding that this disease is fraught with various complications of the course of the disease in different categories of patients, the attitude to the form of organization of reception and treatment of those with who has been diagnosed with coronavirus infection. In this regard, new solutions are born, innovative forms of support, uniting the efforts of structures and organizers, the main goal of which is to provide maximum support to people in trouble.
