New city departments of interior affairs opened in Tashkent

In line with the presidential decree “On measures on radically increasing efficiency of the activities of interior affairs bodies, strengthening their responsibility for ensuring public order, reliable protection of rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens”, it is planned to create 70 departments of interior affairs in the capital city.

Four city departments of interior affairs were opened in Tashkent – city departments of interior affairs No. 5 and No. 8 of Mirzo-Ulugbek district, No. 13 and No. 14 of Almazar district.

Minister of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan, Major-General Abdusalom Azizov, visited these departments of interior affairs and familiarized himself with created conditions to police officers and visitors, as well as detained suspects.

During the opening ceremony, Minister of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan met with district activists, representatives of the public.
