New chairperson of State Customs Committee appointed

Major-General Muidjon Tohiriy was appointed as the chairperson of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan. Prior to appointment, he headed the security service of the President.

Previous head of the State Customs Committee of Uzbekistan Zohid Dusanov was appointed as the head of Department on fighting with tax, currency crimes and legalization of crime income under the Prosecutor-General’s Office.

Zohid Dusanov replaced Major-General Shukhrat Uzaqov at this post. It is worth to mention that Dusanov headed the department in 2008-2011.
