New cases of COVID-19 infection registered in nine regions of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 10:00 on 5 October 2020, the number of registered coronavirus infections in Uzbekistan made up 58 859 (+172).

About 38 cases of COVID-19 registered in Jizzakh region, 34 people in Tashkent, 30 people in Tashkent region, 24 in Bukhara region, 14 in Andijan region, 11 in the Samarkand region, 10 in Surkhandarya region, 6 people in Kashkadarya region. Five cases were identified among citizens in the Republic of Karakalpakstan due to contact with patients with coronavirus.

At the same time, 1 patient with coronavirus died at night.

Currently, 55,318 people with coronavirus infection (94%) have recovered in the country.
