New Ambassador of Afghanistan arrives in Uzbekistan

On 3 June 2016, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received Sayid Shahobuddin Temuriy.

At the meeting, Ambassador Sayid Shahobuddin Temuriy handed over a copy of his credential to the Uzbek Foreign Minister.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of Uzbek-Afghan relations.

The sides also exchanged views on the forthcoming meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, in which Afghanistan will participate as an observer state.
