Net profit of TBC Bank surpasses 154 billion in Q2

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- TBC Bank’s net profit for the second quarter of 2024 reached 154.3 billion soums, marking a 773.8% increase compared to the same period of last year.

According to the bank’s data, the total revenue surged by 141.9% to 1.2 trillion soums.

The bank’s assets reached 6.7 trillion soums, up 113.5% from the same period in 2023, while equity grew by 65.8% to 1.5 trillion soums.

Interest income exceeded 1 trillion soums, an increase of 132.8%, and non-interest income amounted to 207.5 billion soums, up by 198.8%.

Central Bank data shows that the bank’s loan portfolio at the end of the period reached 5.2 trillion soums, representing a 117.0% increase from the previous year, when it was 2.4 trillion soums. The ratio of non-performing loans (NPL) rose from 2.3% to 2.5%.
