Net Profit of Anor Bank Rises 160% in First Half of 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Anor Bank posted a 160% increase in net profit for the first half of 2025.
According to the bank, net profit for the period amounted to 102.2 billion soums, more than two and a half times higher than the 39.3 billion soums recorded in the same period of 2024.
Interest income showed significant growth, rising from 581.1 billion to 1.4 trillion soums. The bank’s non-interest income for the first half of the year totaled 338.2 billion soums, up 18% compared to the same period last year.
Anor Bank’s assets grew by 82.1% in the reporting period, reaching 12.6 trillion soums, while equity capital increased by 40% to 1.2 trillion soums.
According to the Central Bank, as of July 1, 2025, Anor Bank’s loan portfolio stood at 8.4 trillion soums, up 63.2% year-on-year. However, the share of non-performing loans (NPL) rose from 2.5% to 3.8%.
