Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A working group consisting of representatives of Uzbekneftegaz JSC took part in the oil and gas exhibition, which was held on 14-16 May in the city of Tehran.
Within the framework of the exhibition, meetings and negotiations were held with a number of organizations, enterprises that are part of the Ministry of Oil of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In particular, negotiations were held on oil and gas processing projects at the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and the National Petrochemical Company (NPC).
It is worth noting that NIOC is capable of producing an average of 4 million barrels of oil and 500 million cubic meters of gas per day.
During the meetings, representatives of Uzbekneftegaz provided information on the transformation processes being implemented today in the oil and gas industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan, investment projects, production capabilities of enterprises, technological chemical clusters under construction.
Also, within the framework of the meeting, a presentation of projects dedicated to the activities of Iranian companies and implemented in the processing industry, petrochemicals took place.
In turn, representatives of the Iranian company were provided with detailed information on the production capacities of Uzbekneftegaz enterprises, the range, types of imported products, technical requirements, and procurement procedures.
An agreement was reached with representatives of the companies to receive proposals for identifying specialists for joint work at the plant level, studying mutual opportunities.
At the meeting, issues of deep processing of polymer products in cooperation with Uzbekneftegaz JSC, the possibility of producing composite polymers for pipes and films, as well as the development of new grades of polymers were considered.
