Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26-30 January, negotiations of working groups of the government delegations of Uzbekistan and Tajikistan on the demarcation of the Uzbek-Tajik State border were held in the city of Dushanbe, Dunyo news agency reported.

During the negotiations, a schedule of meetings for 2021 was agreed, providing for monthly meetings of the parties.

Within the framework of the meeting, an agreement was reached on the dates and locations for joint field work, and other issues of demarcation of the interstate border line were considered.

Following the talks, a corresponding Protocol was signed.
