Nearly 950,000 Foreign Citizens Traveled to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to July 2025, Uzbekistan was visited by 949,900 foreign citizens for tourism purposes, the National Statistics Committee reported.
This is 319,300 more people, or 50.6 percent higher, compared to the same period last year.
The largest number of tourists came from Russia — 194,300 people, followed by Turkmenistan (147,800), Kazakhstan (102,900), Kyrgyzstan (82,100), China (60,800), and Tajikistan (60,500).
Among European countries, Italy led with 20,600 tourists, followed by Germany with 17,300. From the United States, 15,500 people arrived, and from South Korea — 18,700.
In the Middle East and South Asia, the most active travelers were from Turkey (36,000) and India (24,900).
Other countries accounted for 168,500 foreign tourists.
