Nearly 6.4 Million Uzbeks Traveled Abroad in the First 10 Months of 2025
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to October 2025, approximately 6.4 million citizens of Uzbekistan traveled abroad for tourism purposes, representing an increase of 1.3 million people, or 24.7%, compared to the same period last year, according to the National Statistics Committee.
Neighboring countries remain the most popular destinations: 2.8 million Uzbeks visited Kyrgyzstan, 1.2 million traveled to Kazakhstan, and 1.1 million went to Tajikistan. Significant numbers of tourists also traveled to Russia — 370,100 people, Saudi Arabia — 237,100, and Turkey — 230,800.
Other popular destinations included the UAE (114,100 tourists), Egypt (56,200), China (39,600), and Vietnam (32,800).
The remaining countries collectively hosted 204,100 Uzbek tourists.
