Navoiazot announces tender for construction of chemical complex

Within the project “Construction of complex on production of ammonia and carbamide in Navoi region”, it is planned to construct a complex on production of 900,000 tonnes of ammonia and 1 million tonnes of carbamide a year.

The project with the cost of US$980 million will be financed due to own resources of Navoiazot, resources of Fund for Reconstruction and Development Fund, loans of foreign banks.

The construction works should be completed within 38 months. Tender applications are accepted till 9 July and results will be announced in the third quarter of 2013.

Navoiazot is a largest chemical enterprise in Uzbekistan. It produces over 100 types of chemical products, which are used in various sectors of economy – production of non-ferrous metals, light industry, furniture production, electronics, agriculture, pharmaceutics and aviation. The enterprise exports products to over 20 countries.
