Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting took place between Jamshid Abryuev, Deputy Director of Uzbekistan’s National Agency for Social Protection, and Jonas Ratfelder, Head of the Department for Eastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus at the KfW Development Bank.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects for launching a new project aimed at developing the social protection system and enhancing its inclusiveness. Representatives of KfW expressed their readiness to provide financial support for research in this area.

The National Agency, in turn, confirmed its interest and willingness to offer the necessary assistance in the implementation of the project.

As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue regular engagement and coordinate efforts toward the sustainable development of the social protection system in Uzbekistan.
