Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- National Guard officers detained a man who tried to steal an 8-year-old schoolgirl in Yangiyul.
On 29 January 2021, at about 12:10 o’clock, an unknown person being near the secondary school No. 10, located on Samarkand street of the city of Yangiyul, met a minor "C" born in 2013, who is a student of this secondary school, an unknown person told her by deception “Your mother asked me to buy you chocolate and take you to your father”, taking her hands, he headed down Samarkand street, when they passed the railway crossing located on this street, at that time they were noticed by the kebab maker Abdulaziz O., after an unknown person leaving "C" and her school bag disappeared to the scene.
On 4 February, as a result of an operational measure carried out by the National Guard, the wanted man was detained in the family clinic of the Central Medical Association of Akkurgan district.
The identity of the detainee has been established. It turned out to be a 37-year-old resident of Akkurgan district. Previously, he was tried under part 2 of article 97 (premeditated murder) and part 2 of article 164 (robbery).
Investigative actions are currently underway.
